Swedish Digital ID
Sweden implements a new ID solution that requires a smartphone with iOS or Android, previously it was for brank id only. How to best communicate the issue: Support for “Linux” and people without phone, should run in browser.
AusweisApp
Germany currently has a Free Software AusweisApp that works with a physical card and NFC reader or smartphone. Packaged in e.g. Debian.

LLMs
Discussed different policies in Free Software projects, usage at universities and difference to proprietary projects. We’ve not yet seen good LLM generated bug fixes in our projects (Fermi paradox: everyone talks about it but it just doesn’t seem to be there).
